AGAM — The Operations Section Chief (Kasiops) of Korem 032/Wirabraja, Infantry Colonel Yusuf Saud Tanjung, S.I.P., M.Tr.Han, conducted a working visit to the Yonif TP 897 Singgalang construction project on Tuesday (May 19, 2026). The visit was carried out to directly inspect the construction progress and ensure that the implementation of the work is proceeding according to plan.
During the visit, the Operations Section Chief (Kasiops) of Korem 032/Wirabraja inspected several construction points and highlighted several key areas of attention regarding the project’s execution on the ground. One of the primary concerns raised was the alignment of the landscape and road elevation relative to the buildings, ensuring structural harmony while supporting the safety and comfort aspects of the area.
In addition, attention was also directed toward the management of the water drainage system within the construction area. According to him, a proper drainage system is a crucial factor in preventing water accumulation and maintaining the long-term durability of the infrastructure.
This visit is part of the oversight and evaluation efforts for the construction of Yonif TP 897 Singgalang, which is one of the strategic units expected to support the strengthening of regional defense under the command of Korem 032/Wirabraja.
The project management team expressed their readiness to follow up on all directives and notes provided, aiming to ensure that the construction proceeds optimally, meets quality standards, and aligns with the established targets.
